Ashencove

Ashencove is an animated short developed as the final film of my 3rd year in college. It is framed as a travel advertisement for a coastal town called Ashencove, gone wrong. It is light-hearted and jokey in tone with vibrant characters and visual gags, ending with the narrator frustratedly admitting, maybe you shouldn’t visit Ashencove. As the narrator jumps from location to location trying to get a good shot something always happens that makes the footage unusable for their advert. This is largely due to the fact that Ashencove is populated with some supernatural creatures! Everything from mermaids to ghosts with some regular humans mixed in as well. Ashencove is based on a fictional town I created of the same name and I write stories following its townsfolk. This short film is aimed at a general audience but might be particularly appreciated by young adults.
