In a world constantly scrolling, Disconnect to Reconnect is a project that encourages stepping away from social media, not as an escape but as an invitation to rediscover real connection. Instead of calling people out, it draws them in through a bold, collage-style design that fuses diverse visual styles into one unified expression of community. At the heart of the project is Connect Week 25 a vibrant event designed to bring people together through shared interests and hands, on learning. Whether it’s picking up a new skill or simply having a real conversation, it’s about creating space for meaningful interaction beyond the screen.

For my ISTD project, I created a book inspired by the brief Not Just Fleurons, exploring the Victorian-era language of flowers known as Floriography. It highlights how people once used flowers to express emotions silently in a reserved society. I wanted to bring back the focus on this slowly forgotten language. The project revives this beautiful, forgotten form of communication, where each bloom tells a story. I designed the book to reflect that era’s spirit, blending historical charm with a modern touch.
