‘Whispers Between Worlds’ explores fashion as a vessel for memory, ritual, and transformation. Inspired by the journeys within my family’s life, the collection merges personal narratives to create a deeply meaningful and evolving story. Rooted in the liminal space between land, spirit, haunting, and divinity, it reflects a quiet tension between presence and absence. The designs merge structural tailoring with fluid, organic elements. Sharp silhouettes are softened through sheer layering and experimental crystallisation, creating a dialogue between restriction and release, solidity and fragility. Reinterpreting heritage not as something static or nostalgic, but as an evolving presence that exists between the physical and the unseen. It draws inspiration from Irish folklore, organic landscapes, and the atmosphere of an historic estate, Brownhall Estate, Ballintra. This collection prioritises low-impact materials, incorporating traditional Irish tweed and linen throughout. Collaboration with Magee 1866 enables the use of deadstock fabrics, reducing waste while emphasising craftsmanship, quality, and longevity. The Kapaeri client is introspective and expressive, drawn to garments that balance structure with softness. They seek pieces that feel personal and intentional, favouring natural materials and viewing fashion as a means of identity and storytelling.
