My fashion brand represents an unapologetic way of self-expression. I mainly use printed fabric and vibrant, striking colours because I don’t want the garments to blend in. I also incorporate elements of horror and absurdity as I want each garment to be a showstopper. It’s a fact, that for me designing clothes, is not just something to wear, it’s also something that communicates what you are. Each of my prints are designed with a strong personality so that the wearer feels assured and recognized. My intention is to make garments that are able to attract attention, incite dialogue, and make people fearless in their style on a daily basis. This collection is a tribute to the art of storytelling through illustration, and each clothing item is a moving artwork. Built upon my hand-drawn illustrations, this collection is a tribute to how art and fashion can be combined, the line is often blurred between what hangs on the wall and what drapes from the body. Through line, colour, and composition each piece tells a unique story. Each garment was designed to be printed on fabric, putting a strong emphasize on sustainability so there’s no waste of materials in the production.
